Hi, I’m Sam Rodz

USCCA Training Counselor, the Lead Instructor and one of the partners at the Defensive Firearm Training (formerly Corinthians 922 Firearm Education & Training). We are both a Veteran & family owned LLC that prides itself on unparalleled service and performance. We cater to new gun owners and shooters by adding hands on with each individual to observe and give advice on how to improve your handling of your firearm for the Concealed Firearms Permit Course of Kentucky, Ohio and Florida. We are committed to providing the best firearm instruction possible from the beginner level to the expert level.  At the Defensive Firearm Training, we treat our students with courtesy and integrity. We guarantee realistic, honest marksmanship advice that achieves results. We will lead you on a course to understand how to maintain fire, store and carry your firearms. Our years of experience and notable expertise ensure that your training will be in good hands. Our courses are presented by National Rifle Association (NRA), United States Conceal Carry Association (USCCA), KY Department of Criminal Justice Training (DOCJT), National Association Conceal Carry Instructors (NACCI) certified instructors and NRA Range Safety Officers.

USCCA

The United States Conceal Carry Association Instructor Course is focused on using a firearm as a weapon for self-defense and the protection of home and family. Instructors are given the education and training to teach conceal carry fundamentals and also teach the before, during, and after an altercation essentials. 

PFIAA Vice President

PFIAA members are only seasoned & experience Certified Instructors with excellent reputation in the firearm education & training industry.  

DOCJT

The Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training is the traditional training program for Kentucky Concealed Carry Permit Applicants. 

NRA Instructor

The NRA Basic Pistol course provides introductory knowledge for new firearm owners and satisfies the training requirement for Kentucky, Ohio and Florida Concealed Carry Licenses.

National Association of Concealed Carry Instructors

The NACCI is a coalition of Firearm Instructors devoted to bringing the highest quality of knowledge and professionalism to the instruction of Concealed Carry.
